Grade Level:  PK-5th

Course Instruction: Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Creative Movement

Course Description: Dance represents a broad spectrum of dance styles and techniques from contemporary to post-dance masters. The dance class will focus on the Mississippi Department of Education Standards for Dance, arts integration, B.A.S.T.E (the elements of dance), and performance aesthetic. Through dance, students have the opportunity to explore diverse ways of moving, find multiple ways to work together and express an idea and feeling, and use their imagination and creative-thinking skills to perform a dance.
